Perfect little getaway

5 of 5
If your looking for a rustic little getaway by the beach than this is the right place for you. My wife and kids age 6 and 5 had a blast, and it was a very safe family orientated community. My kids made friends while looking for hermit crabs on the beach and we bbq'd every night which made me happy. The beach was never too crowded and the water temp was warm. The house is on the older side, but that was what I was looking for, reminded me of houses that my family rented when I was young boy, very nostalgic. Brewster is a fairly quiet town that is not commercialized, fun things to do for the kids which again was a plus for me and my family. We will definitely stay there again next year!

Nice vacation spot

4 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was close to the beach, which we loved, and a short walk in the morning to some great breakfast places! The screened in porch was my favorite place to relax after the beach or play card games with friends. The only issue was with the bathrooms. They worked perfectly fine and were clean but the downstairs toilet room had an odor that no air freshener could get rid of. A fresh coat or paint might help brighten them up a bit! Other than that everything was great. Kitchen had everything we needed and the big yard was an extra bonus. Great place if you have kids and is a great place if want to forget about your car for a couple days. There's a lot around to do. Hope to come back, Thanks!

Ideal Cape Vacation Home

5 of 5
The house was spotless & welcoming upon arrival and very well equipped! There were hugs and high fives all around the 10 of us as we oohed and aahed over the spectacular view. We spent days on the beach, wading in the water, rock walking, lazing in the sand and flying a kite (available in the cellar), and took turns finding excuses to use the magnificent, private outdoor shower. The beach, birds and bunnies wowed me and my two little ones in particular. The upstairs deck was wonderful for lunch and sunbathing and star-gazing, too. We used window fans just two still nights and enjoyed the breeze the rest of the week. With easy day trips to Wood's Hole and Sandwich and multiple trips to nearby Orleans, we felt like we covered lots of active vacation ground and still had plenty of beach time since it was just steps from the front door. The one rainy day (we were lucky!), we got to watch World Cup Soccer on the big TV in the upstairs family room and enjoy cold beverages we stored in the mini fridge right there. Really well thought out, nicely maintained and enjoyable home. Great to have use of the grill, toaster oven, full-size oven, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher (just don't run everything at once!). Truly a home away. Wish we could have been there TWO weeks and hope to return next year! Thanks to the owners for posting and sharing this marvelous place!
