Awesome Bed and Breakfast

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time at the Taylor house... clean and charming rooms, inn keepers friendly and helpful, great breakfast and so many things to see and do close by. Jose... thank you for your care and attention to details:) We will be back.

Fantastic

5 of 5
This is a great place in a great location. My family of four came up to Boston for the college hockey frozen four at TD Garden. It didn't take us long to get the lay of our location and take advantage of the convenience of getting around town. We could walk to TD Garden, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Bunker Hill, Old Ironsides, and all the restaurants in the North End. When we wanted to explore the rest of the city, the Haymarket Station was only a 5 minute walk and then we were all over Boston, easily getting to Harvard, the Sam Adams Brewery, Northeastern, Boston College, BU, Boston Common, and more. The best part was always coming back at the end of the day to our quaint rental right next to one of the most iconic sites in Boston, the Old North Church. I cannot stress enough how cool this was. While all the other hockey fans were herding to and from tourist hotels, we were living like locals - locals living in a charming location. The rental was great, just as advertised. Caroline was extremely easy to work with. She was very responsive in any question we had prior to our arrival and went out of her way in making sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. We came in late around midnight and she made up the fold out bed for my kids so we could crash as soon as we made it to the apartment. She was great. I would give this experience six stars if I could.

Way better than a hotel!

5 of 5
From the first contact, Maria was helpful and super easy to deal with. She communicated promptly through email. She made the entire process very easy. She provides a welcome binder with tons of info, and you can feel free to contact her with any questions. She lives right next door, is very approachable and truly wants your stay to be enjoyable. The property is as described, very clean and in a quiet, safe-feeling, residential neighborhood. Even though our stay was in the aftermath of the historic Boston snowfall, there was parking available on the street. Once the car is parked, there is no need to move it! It is very easy to travel into downtown or throughout the city. The T is within a 10 minute walk and there are stores and places to eat within walking distance, or delivery is available also. We definitely will consider staying here again on future trips to Boston. It is just so much more space than a hotel room. A couple things for you to know that are not deal breakers in any way but might be important to some of you. As stated, this is originally a 19th century home, and the stairs were tight for the 6-foot people in our party, but not prohibitive at all. Also, if you like poofy, full pillows, you might want to pack your own. Otherwise, we recommend this rental without hesitation. Maria, thanks for all you did, and thanks for waiting up for our arrival!
