above and beyond our expectations!

i have never stayed in a more beautiful homeaway property! i could write pages of rave reviews, but i'll try to keep it short -- elizabeth was so responsive and awesome from the start, providing well-researched info about all boston neighborhoods, restaurants, and attractions that really helped guide our stay. her recommendations are spot on! the suite is unbelievably charming and romantic, and beautifully decorated. we walked everywhere from the suite and felt that charlestown was a perfect "ground zero" for exploring boston. we couldn't have been more thrilled with our experience. we laughed our butts off at improv asylum and ate the best italian food at giacomo's (north end), loved our dinner at legal oysteria and enjoyed delicious food and a fun historic atmosphere at warren pub (charlestown)... i would recommend this suite over any hotel, anytime. do NOT miss out on a chance to enjoy this place as much as we did! thanks again elizabeth and bill!

Home Away from Home!

5 of 5
The Diamond House is a BEAUTIFUL older home with all the comforts of home. The decor Louise has used brings out the warm, inviting personality of this home. The location was perfect! A quiet yet active neighborhood with restaurants & nite life close by and the "T" was right around the corner making our travel into downtown Boston so easy. Louise is filled with very helpful information as far as getting around in the area & recommending places to eat. One such place is Bella Luna...GREAT food, very pleasant atmosphere & within walking distant. This was an excellent choice for places to stay. Louis was very attentive to our comfort & needs & we could contact him anytime whether it was questions regarding the apt. or getting lost & needing advice. Jamaica Plains (JP) & the Diamond House are highly recommended. Would definitely stay again on any future trips to the Boston area.

location, location, location

The location was perfect for us as we walked everywhere in the three days we stayed. It was also conveniently only a short cab ride from the airport. We appreciated that it was a ground floor apartment. The Freedom Trail was just a block away as were great restaurants and two very fine bakeries. We took the commuter train to Salem one day and spent two days on the Freedom Trail. The last morning we walked along the boardwalk (also just a block away). The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed and we were very grateful for the umbrellas as it poured rain one morning. The bathroom was a little tight but everything in the apartment was super clean and nice. The only recommendation I would have would be a visitors binder with a bit of starter info about the Trail, nearby grocery store location and some previous visitors restaurant recommendations. It did take us a bit to get orientated and to get to a visitors map. We had to ask a neighbor for directions to a grocery so we could purchase a few breakfast and snack items (Golden Goose Market). Great vacation and now marked off my "Bucket List". Highly recommend!
