Fantastic

5 of 5
This is a great place in a great location. My family of four came up to Boston for the college hockey frozen four at TD Garden. It didn't take us long to get the lay of our location and take advantage of the convenience of getting around town. We could walk to TD Garden, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Bunker Hill, Old Ironsides, and all the restaurants in the North End. When we wanted to explore the rest of the city, the Haymarket Station was only a 5 minute walk and then we were all over Boston, easily getting to Harvard, the Sam Adams Brewery, Northeastern, Boston College, BU, Boston Common, and more. The best part was always coming back at the end of the day to our quaint rental right next to one of the most iconic sites in Boston, the Old North Church. I cannot stress enough how cool this was. While all the other hockey fans were herding to and from tourist hotels, we were living like locals - locals living in a charming location. The rental was great, just as advertised. Caroline was extremely easy to work with. She was very responsive in any question we had prior to our arrival and went out of her way in making sure we had everything we needed once we arrived. We came in late around midnight and she made up the fold out bed for my kids so we could crash as soon as we made it to the apartment. She was great. I would give this experience six stars if I could.

Very Nice!

4 of 5
We stayed at this warm, comfortable apartment for nearly a week in October. We found it clean and cozy. It was easy to get there from the airport via the T and we travelled everywhere on public transportation during our stay. Since it was pouring rain on our last morning, we opted for a taxi to take us to South Station to get the train to DC. The cab arrived in minutes since the office is just around the corner. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, loved the views of the city across the water and found some nice restaurants nearby. While not your typical "tourist" place, we loved the uniqueness of the apartment and neighborhood.

Great little spot in East Boston

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed here in celebration of our anniversary. It was the first time we'd been away alone in a long time. And we weren't disappointed. This spot on Marginal Street is everything we expected; just as advertised. The owners are very pleasant and friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. John said he was available by text if we needed any advice while touring Boston! The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. And, it was so great to be so close to the T. When we first arrived we took a walk to the park down the road. This park was such a little gem with beautiful harbor views. Great for a picnic. The apartment itself was clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. We only wished we had more time to sample all the great food in East Boston and beyond. As it was, our first night we went to Italian Express in East Boston right around the block. This place had a homey welcoming atmosphere. The second night we were in Quincy Market and sat outside to eat take out after a long walking tour of Boston. A walk to North Boston during the day was lovely. We also visited the North Church and a little printing press nearby where the proprietor re-enacts printing as it was done when the original Declaration of Independence was created . We went into Paul Revere’s house. So much history and we barely scratched the surface... Oh and don't forget the little bakery next store to Italian Express. We stopped her to stock up on pastry for the ride home. Thanks John and Melissa for being as advertised!
