The key in real estate/travel is Location Location Location! The location could not be more ideal - and adding the free parking in the garage made it heavenly. The personal service provided by V went beyond the call of duty - fresh fruit, breakfast assortments, bottled water, etc were a welcome amenity especially when arriving late. Personal greetings from V when he provided the keys (two sets as requested) and orientation on the retail stores in the neighborhood were indispensable. Although there were no daily housekeeping services, there were plenty of towels in the linen closet for daily changes. Further when we accidentally left a phone charger after our departure, V fed expressed it to us. His service was the intangible value to the tangible value of the rental.

Great place to stay in Boston

4 of 5
This was a very nice suite to stay in on our recent trip to Boston. The description of the suite is accurate and we knew the location of the apartment well in advance. The location is perfect for marathon weekend in Boston. I ran the marathon, and my husband as well as some family came to Boston to spectate. My husband and I stayed in this suite, while other members of the family rented a larger suite in the same building. We were all very happy with the accommodations. The management was very attentive and kept in good contact with us, both during our stay as well as beforehand. The neighbourhood this apartment is located in is excellent. The street is quiet, but it is only one to two blocks from the action on Newbury Street and Boylston. For a quieter outing and fantastic scenery, the Charles and the Esplanade is about 2 blocks in the opposite direction. Taking the T was very easy and I felt very safe in this neighbourhood. I have lived in Boston before, so I felt comfortable walking around and taking public transport, however, even if you are not familiar with the city, it can be quite easy to navigate. In regards to the marathon, it was a short walk to catch the buses to Hopkinton, and it is very close to the finish line, which was nice at the end of the race. It was very easy for my family to leave the apartment and go up to Hereford and spectate. This year the fitness expo was in a different location, but in other years when it is at the convention center, it will be very a very short walk from this apartment. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, pans, and dishes, and whatever we did not have on hand we were able to get from a storage closet that we had access to. The apartment was clean when I arrived and I felt everything provided was in good condition. This is an older building so noise from the hallway does carry through the walls, however, the people in this building are very quiet and noise was never a problem. One nice thing that was extremely helpful was that I was able to leave my bag in the building when I arrived early. This allowed me to explore downtown a bit without having to worry about dragging my bags along. I used paypal for the deposit return and it was in my account promptly.
