Wonderful Place for a Berkshires Getaway!

5 of 5
We rented this lovely home for a girls' getaway weekend, and we had a fantastic experience! The house is beautiful with a newly renovated kitchen and great room downstairs and a lovely master suite upstairs. There was plenty of space for all 10 of us with ample bedrooms, a few different sitting areas, and a great kitchen and dining area. The great room was perfect for cozying up by the fire, and Don and Emily could not have been more helpful and hospitable. Plus the location of this spot can't be beat. It's only a few miles from the highway, grocery, liquor stores, etc and close too all the towns the Berkshires is known for. We visited Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lenox and Lee all in our short weekend trip! We highly recommend this spot!

Wonderful Find

5 of 5
We were a family of four looking to spend a few days welcoming the arrival of the new year in Williamstown. We couldn't have found a better place. When we arrived, it was a pitch black, frigid night in the teens, but the house was wonderfully pre-heated (thanks to the property manager's foresight) and as cozy, immaculate and charming as one could have hoped for. Over the course of the next few days, we enjoyed sleeping late in the wonderfully comfortable beds and warm house, preparing our meals in the excellently equipped kitchen, accessing local information over the Web via the house's robust wifi, and exploring the neighborhood and nearby town on foot. Everything in the house worked perfectly. The owner Marie was a delight to work with in arranging the rental, as was the property manager in getting the house ready for us. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

family gathering

5 of 5
Very spacious home and more patios than we needed. The main patio and kitchen area were well used for a family gathering of 7. We had everything we needed. The grounds have a lot of landscaped nooks and crannies for exploring and tons of privacy. The couple was very welcoming and helpful. I especially liked the upstairs lounge and vined railing. It's convenient to area attractions and I especially liked the botanical gardens and enjoyed the grounds of this house for it's numerous gardens. Lots of books are available inside and I added 2 more for the library. Although the weather was fair and we were outside, indoor enclosed porches would have been comfortable to use. Chipmunks and Jays scold you in the morning for sitting and having coffee and make you laugh. The Norman Rockwell Museum and downtown Stockton are nearby. Lunch at the Red Lion Inn was a great experience. Check out the lounges for their antiques on display. Very close to the Mass Pike, I would stay again to explore more attractions in the Berkshires there wasn't time for.
