Wonderful week at the lake!

5 of 5
Our group has been vacationing to the beach together for the past 12 summers. We decided to switch things up a bit this year with our 1st trip (together) to Deep Creek. We loved it! The home is gorgeous, huge, well-maintained & beautifully appointed. The owner was very quick in responding to emails & very knowledgeable about things to do in the area. We rented a boat that we were able to dock in the slip in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, golf course and tennis courts, as well as walking around the neighborhood. If we visit the area again (which we are hoping to), I would definitely consider this house to re-rent.

An excellent place to stay --

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place has everything you could want (even a Cuisinart food processor). My husband, our three children and two spouses, and our 20-month grandchild joined in on a week at the lake and we all agreed that it’s the best lake house we’ve stayed in. We always spend a week or two on a lake each summer for the last 12 years. It’s a great house and property! The house is well maintained and nicely furnished. The beds were comfortable. My husband loved how the master bedroom was on a different wing of the house, very quiet. The common areas (dining, living, deck) are large. The deck is great and there is a well-maintained hot tub off it which we never used though it looked very inviting. You are set back from the lake, not too far. You see the lake from the house and deck and because of the way they landscaped the property you feel close. Instead of undergrowth under the trees they somehow have moss growing from the deck all of the way to the lake. It’s a magical! The property is pretty level, easy walking for the 20 month-old. There is an extensive dock and seating by the lake with a fire ring, very nice. Nice place to watch the sunset. You are pretty insulated from the neighbors. It’s quiet and secluded. We worked with Stevi Lutheran. She was marvelous in fielding our questions, etc. She’s top notch and made the rental process easy

A very nice stay in Deep Creek

4 of 5
It's was our first time at this property and we very much enjoyed our stay. Very good location, it's close to all the stores and located at the bottom of the slopes at the Wisp resort, ideal if you're looking for a place to stay in the winter. It has both a hot tub and a sauna which was a big plus for us. Sadly, the hot tub's control panel was broken so we could not use it, the part did not arrive prior to our arrival but we were notified the week of our arrival. However, we very much enjoyed the sauna. One other minor thing, the outdoor grill is very old, rusty and needs to be replaced. The ignitor and the right burner did not work. Overall, we were happy with our stay!
