This cabin is awesome, the people that own it are even awesomer, (my own word)

Last year we did a 4 day trip in November, couldn't get enough of the place, this year we came back in October for another 4 day stay, this cabin is a camper's dream come true, it has everything you need, packing for your trip is a cinch, your requirements are reduced to food and beverage, the property is mind boggling, in my opinion perfect, you can hike, sit by the fire indoors or out, it has a terrific picnic area, and if the weather is bad, you have the comfort of the cabin itself, can't beat it. Dan and Deb are without a doubt great people to work with, they can answer any question and help with just about anything you need for your stay. I can't say enough on how nice these people are. Just grab some friends or your family and have a ball. You won't find a better deal.

Lovely home base.

A very comfortable landing pad for our group of 6, which included 2, 70 year old grandparents. We decided to rent a home away from DC so we could relax together at the end of the day, rather than in separate rooms of a hotel. We made the hour & 20 min drive to DC most every day. On the days we stayed 'home', we enjoyed the animals down the street, the books on the shelves and the very comfortable beds :) We explored the Catoctin mountain park just minutes away. Some day, we hope to visit again.
