Gorgeous Property, but Amenities need attention

4 of 5
This property is absolutely beautiful...park like setting, lots of land, beautiful waterview and spectacular sunrises. The house was comfortable...linens very clean as well as bathrooms. A few things need attention....the grill outside was unusable as the grates were covered in rust and caked on food. Also no propane. Notified the rental agent and though they tried to get new grates, they could not. But they did scrape them down a bit. Also, the A/C in the living room kept shorting out. The ceiling fan in the hot tub room did not work. I would also suggest that some things be checked between tenants...old food left in the refrigerator and dirty laundry in the washing machine. Plus ants are a definite problem. But we enjoyed the solitude and serenity as well as being so close to St. Michaels. We also appreciated how well the grounds were maintained and how clean the pool was.

Loverly!

A wonderful week in a wonderful cottage in a wonderful town. Steps to a small harbor and another block to the river view. Walked into town for great shops and restaurants (Don't miss Gregorio Gallery for great photos and gifts and Gina's at the top of the street for great shrimp tacos and crab dip!) Nice bike rides on the nature trail a few blocks from the cottage. Open the windows at night for the sound of silence interrupted only by the sounds of nature. The setting was ideal! Thanks!

A great vacation week for 3 generations.

We spent 2nd week of June 2014 at Savior Faire. The house was "over the top" luxury with huge rooms and amazing bathrooms. The view was fabulous from everywhere. The pool was especially nice with a very large shallow end (1 ft) for the wee ones, to about 6 ft deep for the grown-ups. The grounds were immaculate. The house was in great shape when we got there, and Angela did her best to correct the things not working right. She brought some sort of WiFi booster for the internet. It was still a bit weak and did not work in all rooms of the house...but we were on vacation. Cell phone coverage was sketchy as well, but they have a land line there. The town of St. Michaels was a delight. Lots of unique shops, restaurants, and an excellent Maritime Museum. Too much to do in just a week. We will have to return next year.
