We arrived late which wasn't an issue, they left the packet in the lockbox. The unit was pretty and nicely decorated, it DID NOT come with towels and washclothes which wasn't an issue, I actually bring my own because the thought of using someone else's washclothes freak me out. This turned out to be a plus because after I got the children to bed hubby and I proceeded to go to bed and when we pulled back the covers there were stains on the sheets. I looked around and realized there were no extra sheets available. We were at a loss, so yes, I called the 800 # and after arguing with the answering service , they finally got central reservations on the phone. I was informed by Marsha this was not an emergency and there was nothing she could do at 11pm, she also insisted the sheets were freshly laundered but my question was "would you sleep on stained sheets, not knowing what the stains are", she never answered that question. Now that may be true but when I looked at them all I saw were stains and I am positive no one would sleep on stained sheets no matter what the person on the other end of the phone was telling you because you just don't know what type of stains they are or if the sheets were freshly laundered. I was told to remove the sheets from the sofa bed and put them on the master. Once I removed the stained sheets, the mattress pad had a big urine stain on it so I removed everything and put the sofa bed sheets on the master which were too small, but it worked for the night. The next day I went to the outlets and purchased new queen sheets laundered them and put them on the master. This is my problem, after further inspection I noticed how dirty the unit was, hair on the bathroom floors, and when I moved the coffee table to open the sofa bed there were crumbs under the table, etc. I am not a clean freak but is it too much to ask for unstained sheets and run a vacuum properly. Friday afternoon Stan, the cleaning manager came over and brought me a brand new mattress pad and brand new sheets. But he also couldn't understand why a couple of stains would bother me, he even said this isn't a hotel and maybe I am expecting too much. Really, I rent condos whenever my family goes on vacation, we recently went to NOLA and guess what, the sheets were stain free and clean. I would rent there again but of course bring my own sheets, but they probably would not allow me too because my standards clean may be too high for them. They may need a NEW cleaning company.
