Great cabin for an extended family trip.

4 of 5
My extended family had a great weekend in this cabin. There was plenty of room for sleeping and hanging around the house. Although it is close to activities and restaurants, the house feels very secluded in the woods. Sitting around the fire pit and relaxing in the hot tub were our favorite activities. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Deep Creek area.

Cozy cabin in a great location

5 of 5
My family and I stayed at this cabin for a weekend and we were very pleased! The cabin is extremely cozy and very clean. We were amazed at how the kitchen had everything that you might need. The hot tub is fantastic and we used one of the fire pits to make mountain pies and smores. It is a nice, short walk to the dock slip where we rented a pontoon boat and had a blast fishing and exploring on the lake. Doris is very helpful, answered all of my questions, and is a great host. I highly recommend this place!! It is the perfect place for a getaway!

Relaxing Getaway

5 of 5
Thank you for the weekend in the cabin, we really enjoyed the cozy accommodations. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom loft all just the right size for a family of four. We are used to camping and know how to make the most out of a small area and are also thankful to have access to outdoors area. Our two (small) dogs thoroughly enjoyed frolicking in the yard after a long car ride. They were sad to be back in their apartment here in the city and keep asking to go back to the spacious yard. I like the deck off the back, it is a nice retreat onto itself, escaping the activities that were going on inside. I could unplug from the TV and electronics and listen to the babbling brook and horses in the distance, and with the surrounding fields and rural setting it was a relaxing change from city life. This trip, we did not explore any of the local scene (Middletown), but will definitely come back. After visiting Gettysburg, we drove into Annapolis on Saturday, and Washington DC on Sunday, so this location fit into our plans great. We did not use the wood stove, but did use the fireplace both nights mostly for ambiance as the daytime temperatures where in the 60s, and the loft area where we slept, stayed warm during our stay. If there are any cons, I would say after our weekend we all had a smell of campfire. The stairs to the loft has the pitch of a “ships ladder” and is a steep. But overall there is enough space that we were not on top of each other (four of us) and the surrounding countryside is very beautiful. The owners are very accommodating, and we will return.
