Exceeded all expectations

5 of 5
The accommodation was squeaky clean and fresh, a critical consideration in getting comfortable in temporary lodgings. All necessities were in place (nice linens/towels, toiletries, etc) and quite a number of very nice to have items were also available (WIFI, ceiling fans, pots, pans, plates, glasses, condiments, coffee etc.). The condo is spacious with separate spaces for a number of groups and activities. Great floor plan. Very nice to have a coffee shop downstairs and a few good restaurants/grocery store in easy walking distance. It's a longer stroll down to the waterfront (about 20 minutes) but the route using Gate 8 and crossing the Academy grounds makes it an enjoyable journey. I have used VRBO/Homeaway a half dozen times and this Annapolis property is the best, exceptional. Thanks John.

Home Away From Home

5 of 5
This was our first experience with “HomeAway,” and it was an ideal introduction to this type of vacation accommodation. The separate apartment was totally private and completely furnished, allowing us to save travel money by preparing our own meals, as well as doing our laundry. Barbara and Tom were warm and wonderful hosts, and generously provided everything that we needed to feel totally comfortable and at home. Aside from all of the necessities, Barbara also left fresh Spring flowers, an unexpected and lovely grace note. Our hosts were also completely supportive in providing us information about how to take the commuter train into Washington, DC. It was very nice to “live” in the rolling hills of MD, and yet have easy access to the city. It was a very convenient base for taking other daytrips to Annapolis, MD as well as to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. We feel as if we have made new friends in MD, and we definitely would plan to stay here again if our travels brought us back to this area.
