Quiet Cabin-Stunning Views of the Chesapeake

5 of 5
Was familiar with this Area as I had spent most of my Life here..Scientist's Cliffs came about as a Community in the 1930's with Preservation of the Natural Environment a very important part of the Design of the Community...We wanted to stay in One of the Vintage Log Cabins on the Cliff with a View of the Chesapeake and Eastern Shore along with close proximity to One of the Best Fossil Collecting Areas on the Chesapeake----WE GOT ALL WE ASKED FOR!!!---What a Great House that has been in Ginny's Family for over 60 Years---Very comfortable for Myself and My Wife Kim---An interesting Walk down to Beach Area on a well-maintained Boardwalk/Steps through what I would call a "Jungle" Maryland style(Not for Folks who have trouble walking up/down inclines but there is another Beach within the Community you can drive to easily that is easily accessible)..Just Incredible Views of the Chesapeake with at least a half-dozen Eagles flying all day very close to the Cabin, over the Chesapeake...Ginny has kept this House up very nicely--Not run-down or dirty at ALL....Comfortable Beds and Chairs and a great enclosed Porch to view the Bay or just relax and read a Good Book..Ginny's Description of the Cabin was Right-on the Money.....If you are interested in getting away for a few days or longer, this is the Place for you--If you can't relax here, then you can't relax anywhere!!..Jim Gscheidle

Perfect gathering place for friends

5 of 5
The house was the perfect place for a group of friends to gather. 14 of us spent the weekend singing and enjoying the breathtaking view of the Bay. We may have provided a concert or two to the neighbors and fishermen on the pier. :) The house was clean and ready for our arrival, and had the perfect amount of space for our large group. The only challenge we had was cleaning up all of our dishes after the weekend without dish detergent provided. Other than that, a perfect stay!

A great place for a vacation

5 of 5
The house suited us very well and we enjoyed the beach, pool, and sights. It is a clean house with a new kitchen, very well suplied. It was marvellous to be in the porch (and everywhere except bathrooms) and be always looking at the water.Even the only rainy day of our stay was pleasant, watching the wind swept Bay while reading and playing and trying to guess when the lone sailing dingy bravely fighting the waves and wind was going to send its sailor outboard. The SCA location is very quiet and safe, the owner/s are pleasant and helpful and the property description accurate. All in all a great place to be. We wished we could have stayed longer.
