This cabin exceeded our expectations in it's charm and rustic, but comfortable amenities. We spent the first hour just exploring the house and letting the dogs run in the fenced in yard. We easily started a fire with the wood provided and had the whole cabin toasty within an hour. We loved so much of this cabin from the aesthetics, the well equipped kitchen, the decorations, comfortable furniture, beautiful views (they let the horses across the creek out to graze at 5 PM each day), the fenced in yard, the pile of VHS and DirecTv (with HBO), the location and more. Some caveats: for new couples you may find the intimate nature of the cabin a little uncomfortable when nature calls. You can hear everything that is happening in the bathroom from any location on the first floor. I had assumed that the fenced in yard was attached to the house, but you have to walk the dogs on leash to the fenced in area (which the dogs LOVED, by the way). Lastly, I had assumed that the cabin was secluded in the woods but it is pretty close to the main road (you can hear the cars but can't really see them) which didn't affect the ambiance of the cabin once we were inside, but was a concern for the dogs in case they wandered to the road.
I hope to come back to the cabin and find more gems like this on VRBO.
