Would totally recommend it!

I rented this place for about a week. The place was very clean. It had an automated security system, which I liked a lot. There was a file in the living room which included all the information we needed (trash pick up, etc.). The kitchen was fully equipped; everything you need is there. I brought my own coffe-maker and water boiler which I ended up not using. The cupboards were full of unopened food, (i.e., spices, canned soup, cereal and other stuff) that previous renters had left. Although we brought our stuff, we were allowed to use the stuff that was already there. The beds were comfy and the furniture was modern exactly like the pictures posted here. The owner was living in the basement of the house. Although we shared the driveway, we didn't feel that there is someone living down there. She is "Awesome" in her quick responses (both email and telephone). We needed to call her once because of maintenance in the master bathroom (not that it was a major thing; the water was just dripping from the shower). She immediately came and solved the issue. Also, my two year old was playing with the TV's remote control and accidentally ordered a movie which we didn't watch. The owner was very understanding and did not charge us a penny for that. The only thing that I would appreciate was if the backyard was fenced. The location was convenient to DC area and attractions. We used our own car. We also did not have any problems receiving our security deposit in full. Overall, I would recommend the place and definitely would rent it again. Thanks for having such wonderful place!

Great location to stay in to visit Washington DC.

The property was perfect for our family of 4 to use as a base during our visit to Washington DC. We were traveling with our two teenagers - and it was great that they had their own bathroom and bedroom area. Although the condo is listed as walking distance to the metro, we chose to drive and park there. It was a bit too far away for us to be comfortable walking home after a late day in downtown DC. It was very convenient to the grocery store and the beltway when it was time to leave! Our only suggestion would be that the owner get a set of inexpensive nonstick pans for the condo! It was very nice that the condo was stocked with things like paper towels and plastic wrap. I rent vacation homes frequently and this is not always done. The availability of a washer and dryer was also a big plus! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning on visiting the DC area! Many thanks to Ben!

Home away from home!

This quaint loft was perfect for us. It had a fully use-able kitchen, cable TV and WiFi, and the bed was comfortable. Location wise, it was about 25-30 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go, as we expected. It gave us the privacy we wanted, and the quiet, country atmosphere we love. There were grocery stores, restaurants, and a laundromat within 10 minutes. Easy to get to IF you have an EZ Pass transponder. Order one ahead of your trip if you don't have one. We drove to the Greenbelt Metro train line to go into Washington DC. Strongly recommend having a GPS to travel anywhere there. The freeway/road system is amazing, but can easily get confusing if you don't have it well mapped out.
