Karl was great to deal with, from the moment I inquired about the property until the time we departed. He was always very prompt in returning a call or email.
The town home was gorgeous, just like the photos! It was perfect for my fiancé and I as we were traveling with another couple to catch a few ball games. The bedrooms each had their own level of the home and each had their own bathroom which was very convenient. We loved the deck off of the second floor! And if you're in town to catch an Orioles game the field is only about a 10 minute walk...if that. And the Ravens stadium is even closer! Inner Harbor was also a short walk maybe 10-15 mins. We walked the whole time, we were pretty central to everything.
We ran into an issue with the fridge...it was leaking water once we returned from the ball game on our first night, I had called Karl and he was very apologetic (not his fault, completely unforeseen) and was there the next morning to get it all straightened away. He would have been there the same night but we really weren't in any rush and it wasn't imperative for us to have a fridge.
The only reason we're giving the Hamburg House 4 stars is because we really didn't feel comfortable leaving our vehicle parked outside of the property. With the rental you also are able to utilize the resident parking pass but we felt better parking in a parking garage because we had out of state plates and we weren't too sure about the area. During the day we walked and felt safe, but at night we opted to utilize a cab service to get back. The townhome was completely secure and had a great alarm system.
Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay Karl was very accommodating and hospitable and we would definitely contact him if we were to travel to Baltimore again. He even set us up with a few nice welcome treats of win from a local vineyard (which was fantastic) as well as Boh beer and some snacks!
