Bristol Farms was amazing. We were supposed to go last year but business got in the way but we were able to come this year. Lisa was amazingly helpful about the changes. The property more than lived up to its pictures and description. Usually when someone says gourmet kitchen it doesn't really mean it, Bristol Farms does. Everything about this property is first rate. From the pictures I thought the sun room would be my favorite and it was. The middle of the house, kitchen, sun room and patio were where we all hung out. Just a short drive to Boston, we caught a Sox game, and Portland, great foodie town, it was the perfect location. There really is no cell service as stated but for 4 very busy professionals it allowed us to truly disconnect and enjoy our families. There is wifi which allows you to keep in touch if necessary but there is no constant calls and texts to keep you busy. YOU CAN RELAX! The frogs in the pond played a concert for us every evening. Way better than the e-mail ding on the phone! Since it was mid June we opted to heat the pool and it was perfect. We swan, hung in the hot tub, hiked the cliff walk, walked into the bagel place in town and played golf. York was a cute little town but had everything we needed. Also we went to the Yarn Seller to pick up some Maine yarn as a gift and there has a house angora pet bunny, too cute. From the first moment to the last this house feels like a home. Not too fussy, comfortable and if you need something it just seems to be there. Lisa has also put together a book of things to do which was very complete and up to date. Our only wish was a few more board games or things to do in the late evening. Only disappointment? That we didn't book 2 weeks. Great place can't go wrong.
