A Fabulous Place for Family Vacation!

5 of 5
We rented the Captains Quarters for an intergenerational vacation of grandparents, parents and children. What a Find! Ample space(3 bedrooms) with a stunningly gorgeous view of the river. The Quarters were nicely furnished with a full kitchen and cooking equipment and a washer dryer. No need to go out for meals unless you want to. Also an outdoor grill for cookouts. We took advantage of their boat rental for a wonderful day. Eric was terrific suggesting where to go on the river and ocean. They also provided beach chairs. Badmitten and shuffleboard for the kids. Kayaking available in walking distance. Beach a short drive. Our one week vacation last year was so successful that we reserved for two weeks this summer!

Wonderful autumn family reunion

5 of 5
My brother and I stayed over Thanksgiving week along with out mother, wives, and a total of four children under 3. It was the perfect house. Because of the layout each family had in essence their own floor of the house. The formal living room along with the TV room meant that there was plenty of privacy for adults and children. I really appreciated the number of refrigerators which enabled us to do most of our thanksgiving shopping in just one trip to the grocery store. Being associated with an inn meant that there was 24/7 support, especially when there was a bit of unexpected snow. The location is perfect with ocean views and a short hop into town for restaurants, shopping and groceries. We were able to enjoy everything that southern Maine had to offer. The size of the bedrooms and number of large beds made the house feel even more luxurious. We really felt that we were on vacation and able to truly relax. The kids loved exploring all the nooks and crannies of the house. They cannot wait to go back again next year.

Ultimate in luxury SENSATIONAL EXPERIENCE

5 of 5
We have rented luxury houses around the world through Homeaway, VRBO and others several times a year for the past 10 years and this house was the ultimate in luxury, design, location, and attention to detail. While it was on the high end for prices in Maine, it was actually a bargain compared to other New England homes. I have also never experienced an owner who was so attentive to our needs. He made outstanding recommendations, provided us with a fantastic chef and catered to all of our family requirements. All the reviews are true and accurate and well deserved. This property is a must if you only want the best.
