We arrived for our long weekend after traveling from the west coast, and were greeted with a lovely, airy, clean home, a much appreciated bottle of wine to enjoy upon arrival and a bag of coffee to enjoy in the morning. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out - there were 8 of us, 4 generations! The beds were comfy, linens were provided (a rarity in this neck of the woods!) and the baby equipment and multiple bathrooms were much appreciated. It's a short walk to the cute little village, where there are nice restaurants and the usual funky beach arcades. It reminded us so much of my father-in-law's village in England, it was amazing! We walked around Nubble Light for a bit of exercise, well worth walking instead of driving for the gorgeous views! We had a family event at Lobster in The Rough, interesting place. Bocce ball in the back, fire pits, etc. It was raining so we didn't get to fully enjoy it, but could have been tons of fun.
We received a call from our host shortly after arrival to make sure everything was okay, which was so thoughtful. All in all a very positive experience. I would definitely stay here again!
