Great view, beautiful house

5 of 5
The house is amazing and completely private/separate from the other house in the property. It has everything you could need from bikes to kayaks to lobster cracking tools. The house alone is an incredible value for the price, but in addition to the house, Joi and her husband run a 'ready to cook live lobster dinner shipping company' and she is currently offering a free lobster dinner for her guests which you can chose to prepare yourself or have cooked for you. We chose to cook ourselves, and it was the most memorable and fun experience we had on our trip. The dinner would have easily cost $300 at a restaurant, and tasted better than any lobster we've ever had. Finally, Joi is also a realestate agent and she arranged properties to show us while we were there. She is an amazing hostess and a stay at her place is highly recommended if you like lobster, are interested in buying property in the area, or just in need of a relaxing getaway in a very comfortable ocean view home.

Super Short Getaway

5 of 5
What a wonderful place to relax and get away from all the modern day schedules. We roughed it for 4 days/3 nights and could not ask for better. Three guys from the hectic ways of the Hartford, Ct area. Away from it all and still close enough to civilization for whatever you need. Jim DeGrandpre is an excellent host and answered our questions with a wealth of knowledge. Try the local beef on the grill with a side of lobster. Surf and turf at its homemade best! This is a vacation spot away from it all. Sit back on the deck and watch the lobster boats pull their pots directly in front of you. Hope to return again Jim if you will have us. Will have to bring the wives next time. Such a nice place that they will also wish for a longer stay.
