Beautiful, secluded, rustic

5 of 5
We absolutely loved our stay here. The owner was prompt to reply to emails and very pleasant to work with, allowing our two well-behaved dogs to accompany us without giving us any trouble. The property is tidy, homey and the location is truly gorgeous. Highly recommended.

A wonderfully relaxing vacation

5 of 5
My wife and I had a wonderful time. The cottage and lake were exactly as described. The pictures of the interior were exactly what we found - a clean, efficient and welcoming home. The lake was pristine. In the early morning we had the pleasure of 2 or 3 loons calling to each other on the water. Our bedroom was on the East side of the house,so we were awoken to beautiful sunrises. (If you prefer to sleep in there was another bedroom on the westward facing side as well). Because we were on a Southeast facing direction, it was lovely watching the setting sun set the tops of the trees across from us on fire at the end of the day. At night the sky was so clear all the stars sparkled. The kayaks that were provided add an extra adventure to our stay. It was exciting to paddle across the crystal clear water and explore the shallows and lily pads. The assortment of wildlife was amazing. Humming birds off the deck, red squirrels in the pines, frogs and fish in the pond. Although there were a couple of rainy days, we were able to occupy ourselves by going to nearby Conway, NH and visit some of the small shops and have lunch on a locomotive train ride. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing, “do nothing” type of vacation.
