                                  CUTE CABIN

                                  4 of 5
Our group stayed in this cabin for a weekend of spring skiing at Sugarloaf. We generally stay in the Rangeley area as we ski both Sugarloaf and Saddleback and Rangeley is closer to our home. A couple in our group wanted to ski only at Sugarloaf so we chose this cabin. The cabin is located on Route 27 but we found it be very quiet without much road noise. The cabin is very cute and met all of our needs. The sunken living room with wood stove was interesting and the living room had a beautiful peaceful view. The outside wood shed was enclosed and therefore all wood dry and owners even left kindling to light the stove with. I found the cabin to be clean and comfortable. The two upstairs bedrooms are small but adequate. The cabin would be most comfortable with 6 - 8 might be a tight fit particularly with one bathroom. We would definitely consider renting this cabin again on a future trip to the Sugarloaf area.

                                  A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

                                  5 of 5
Our group consisted of 10 adults and 8 children. We were originally scheduled to arrive on a Thursday and stay through Sunday, however a huge storm approaching was going to make it difficult for everyone in our party to arrive on Thursday. (Some of us had a 5.5 hour drive). Paula, also aware that the storm was approaching, was very helpful in assisting us to make our arrival date a day earlier so that we wouldn’t have to drive in as treacherous conditions. Albeit, many of us still ran into snow, but not the 2 feet that arrived at the ski house after it was all over! The house is amazing, Paula has thought of everything! The Ski House guide that Paula includes in the welcome packet is great if you have any type of questions at all! We were a little concerned that the driveway had not yet been plowed as our 4 wheel drive vehicles were having a hard time in the driveway. One contact to Paula and it was taken care of immediately. We were guessing that the snow removal businesses all were very busy considering the large amount of snow that fell. If you are a group with children, the game room is incredible!! It entertained all of the children of various ages, while the adults were able to unwind upstairs in the kitchen area after long days at the mountain. We also made good use of The 3 cub pub. The kids also really enjoyed the Treasure Hunt. The house is at a great location, just a couple of minutes from the mountain but far enough to have privacy. Our group made great use of the amazing kitchen. We ate most of our meals in, and the kitchen was certainly well equipped to handle our very large group of people. And of course, the hot tub was enjoyed throughout our stay. Paula was so great to work with, and has not missed a detail in regards to the house. I would highly recommend the Maine Ski House.

                                  A MEMORABLE AND WONDERFUL WEEK

                                  5 of 5
We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a relaxing and memorable vacation, we certainly did. The house is absolutely stunning and impeccably maintained. The decor is very tasteful, practical and elegant striking a rare combination between comfort and aesthetics. All the appliances, pots and pans, etc are top of the line (nothing cheap in this home). It was so pleasant being "home" that the whole family had a difficult time heading for the Sunday River slopes each morning, this was the only "drawback" of this beautiful rental, you simply cannot leave. At night after a whole day of skiing the whole family enjoyed a movie from the wide selection of entertainment beautifully displayed on a high definition apple TV - again top of the line. But while the home and its interior were impeccable, the excellent attention and immediate responses of David and Nathan are to be highly commended. They were always available, ready to respond to anything, their advice and suggestions always clear, accurate, and excellent. We cannot thank them enough for making our stay so special and beyond what we could have ever expected. We are already looking forward to our return!
