Our group consisted of 10 adults and 8 children. We were originally scheduled to arrive on a Thursday and stay through Sunday, however a huge storm approaching was going to make it difficult for everyone in our party to arrive on Thursday. (Some of us had a 5.5 hour drive).
Paula, also aware that the storm was approaching, was very helpful in assisting us to make our arrival date a day earlier so that we wouldn’t have to drive in as treacherous conditions. Albeit, many of us still ran into snow, but not the 2 feet that arrived at the ski house after it was all over!
The house is amazing, Paula has thought of everything! The Ski House guide that Paula includes in the welcome packet is great if you have any type of questions at all! We were a little concerned that the driveway had not yet been plowed as our 4 wheel drive vehicles were having a hard time in the driveway. One contact to Paula and it was taken care of immediately. We were guessing that the snow removal businesses all were very busy considering the large amount of snow that fell.
If you are a group with children, the game room is incredible!! It entertained all of the children of various ages, while the adults were able to unwind upstairs in the kitchen area after long days at the mountain. We also made good use of The 3 cub pub. The kids also really enjoyed the Treasure Hunt.
The house is at a great location, just a couple of minutes from the mountain but far enough to have privacy.
Our group made great use of the amazing kitchen. We ate most of our meals in, and the kitchen was certainly well equipped to handle our very large group of people.
And of course, the hot tub was enjoyed throughout our stay.
Paula was so great to work with, and has not missed a detail in regards to the house. I would highly recommend the Maine Ski House.
