WOW!!!

5 of 5
I've rented many vacation homes over the years and can honestly say that The Maine Ski House was the best vacation rental experience I have ever had. The communication far exceeded expectations. Paula was incredibly responsive and provided a great deal of information and helpful tips. The home is spectacular, it is spotless and beautifully appointed and unique. It has every comfort of home and then some, with special features including the game room, hot tub, bar and treasure hunt. It's located in a beautiful development only 3 minutes from Sunday River. The home and rental experience was perfect from start to finish. I cannot wait to go back!! Long story short, I could not more highly recommend this home.

Charming

5 of 5
Was looking for a different and relaxing way to celebrate my boyfriends birthday with a group of friends and this did the trick. We were driving from new jersey about a good 7 hr drive. The owner gave us very thorough instructions and was quick to answer any questions i had before arriving. The home was clean and had plenty of room for the 7 of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with any spices, utensils, pots, pans, etc which was a big help. Its located about 15 minutes from the beautiful sunday covered bridge which is an absolute must see and the sunday river resort where we enjoyed the lift to the top of the mountain with a breathtaking view. While we stayed there was an annual harvest festival going on and of course we had to stop by. The locals were so nice and helpful in giving us suggestions on things we must do before we leave. All in all we had an amazing, scenic trip and my only regret is not staying longer. Will definetely be coming back.

Fabulous Maine getaway

5 of 5
The property is easy to get to, off the main road, close to area ski resorts. It is totally private. The home is beautifully decorated. The living room with wood stove was so cozy, warm and appealing. We kept the stove on just for the ambiance; there's nothing like a crackling fire and wood was plentifully provided. The kitchen is beautifully equiped; the bedrooms extremely comfortable; there was satellite TV, a hot tub, wireless Internet, lots of games, movies, books. The night sky from the deck of this lovely A frame was awash in stars that cannot ever be seen from the city. The mountains were brilliant with fall colors. This was truly a perfect getaway weekend, close to the Fryeburg Fair. We hope to return in the winter for another delightful stay.
