EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE HOME IN BEAUTIFUL SETTING!

                  5 of 5
Richard and Mary Ann are wonderful hosts. Lights were left on for night arrival. All modern appliances and well laid out kitchen. Relax in either the den or living room. Quiet setting with ocean views from many windows. Loved master bath view over ocean, working lobster boats, and lots of wildlife. Walked along the private beach. Looked forward to using fireplace and loved the radiant floor heat downstairs, but it did not get cold enough to use either after the first night. We were three couples and we appreciated the 3 queen beds and 3 full baths. Master bed was memory foam and very comfortable. There was a variety of pillows from which to choose. Home was very clean. This home is located in the quietest area of the Quiet Side, but has easy access to everything. We hope to return here again! As for things nearby, we cooked lobster every other night. I would boil water in kitchen, then take out to side burner on gas grill to cook the lobster in order to not smell up the house. Ate dinner at Red Sky in SWH which has fantastic food. Also loved Quietside Cafe and Little Noch Cafe in SWH. Park closed during our visit, but we found other places to explore. Enjoyed drive up US 1 and onto Schoodic Peninsula to Prospect Harbor. Beautiful town and great photo ops in town and along the way. Hiked the carriage roads from Seal Harbor area. These are private and open to public all the time. Owners just ask for no bikes in this area.
