This cute cozy condo had everything we could possibly need plus more. There was a large assortment of any kitchen utensil, glasses, plates, etc. that you can imagine. There was even a large choice of cooking spices for the few times we got the urge to cook. Beach chairs and even a sort of fold up cart to get them to the beach were supplied. Although the unit is not on the ocean, it is at the edge of a backwater and salt marsh area that supplied relaxing entertainment watching the birds and the kayaks and paddle boarders that utilized the area at high tide. The beach is just a short walk away. The unit was decorated with everything in a beach motif that made it fun and cheerful. Everything was as neat and tidy as could be. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and wanted to be sure that we were happy and satisfied. We had a snafu in our airline flight schedule that caused us to arrive much later than expected. Marsha supplied us with a "goodie bag" and some great snacks to enjoy when we finally arrived. She had also researched the information we asked about buying lobsters already steamed at the nearby places. The closest lobster pound supplied us with many great lobster meals and some great reasonably priced crab cakes. We went for many walks on the beach, exploring the tide pools at low tide. It was also fun to walk around the neighborhood to look enviously at the houses in the area. We are from WI, so comparing the style of Maine houses and our mid-west houses made us appreciate the uniqueness of the area. We went out to several restaurants that were nearby and enjoyed the wide variety of craft beers made in Maine, some nearby. The grocery store was a quick drive away. The Maine Botanical Gardens and the aquarium were not far away and an enjoyable way to spend some time. On the day it rained, we headed up to Portland and spent time in the art museum, several galleries, a brewery (with free samples), Trader Joe's and many little shops. There were many other things to do there but ran out of time and energy. We drove south also and found many little towns to explore. We had never been to Maine before and would love to go back. When it was time to move on, Marsh asked us if we could think of anything else we may have wanted or needed, We have traveled to many places, but have not encountered any that were so well equipped as this one, nor any owner/manager that really wanted to be sure we had a great experience. Thanks Marsha
