Lovely cottage near shore, ice cream, restaurants

5 of 5
We enjoyed a week of peace and joy when we and our children stayed in this quaint cottage in late July. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom good sized and the yard spacious. Most of all, we loved the screened in porch and ate every meal at the table there. The breeze was constantly refreshing as we shared meals and played games around the table. Fans were available but we found we didn't need them in coastal southern Maine. It was a welcome, cool and comfortable break from Texas July heat. When we left, we suggested a small microwave would be convenient for heating coffee or simple meals and Shaun was very responsive to our request. We highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, active stay away from home. We loved it.

Beach Dreams a short drive away!

5 of 5
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Beach Dreams with my daughter and her family while we attended a baby shower. The cottage could not have been more comfortable and relaxing. It is just off the main thoroughfare and quiet as can be. Check in and out were effortless and quick. The weather was still warm enough that the two pools in the complex were inviting, although we did not have enough time to use them :). Everything you need is available at this home, so you really just need to bring your clothing and toiletries. There were linens available if you prefer not to bring your own. I will definitely plan on a return trip in the future so that I might fully enjoy the home, area and all of the nearby attractions offered in the Wells, Maine area. It is really centrally located to the nearby coastal towns of Ogunquit, Kennebunk and York. There is shopping galore for those rainy days when the beach areas are not the best choice but even driving the coastal route to view the ever changing Maine coast is quite breathtaking. The host/hostess were more than accommodating and responded immediately to my reservation. This is a great option to the everyday hotel rentals available where the family can relax, spread out and have privacy while enjoying their visit to Maine. It really is a great opportunity to have a relaxing visit yet be close to top notch dining, shopping, quirky finds and of course the beaches.

A perfect place to stay!

5 of 5
I can't say enough about what a delightful place this is, the cottage was quaint and charmingly decorated with a touch of the sea. We had a wonderful time, it was close to the trolley stop, there was lots of shopping close by, the beach was a shot ways away, great dining, & relaxing by the pool. Our neighbors were welcoming & pleasant. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet Jen but would like to say thank you for a providing such a lovely place to stay. My eight year old said "I want to make this a tradition and come back every year and when I'm older I want to bring my kids here"
