Wonderful Vacation!

5 of 5
My husband, myself and my parents along with our two four legged friends stayed here for a week towards the end of September and had a wonderful, relaxing and amazing vacation. The property is simply beautiful! So peaceful, wonderful views, great access to the ocean. The home itself is also perfect, with plenty of space and everything you need right there. It is located close enough to the town of Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park to be able to see everything you would want to see and experience, while being able to enjoy your own quiet piece of paradise at the end of the day. We hated to leave after our wonderful week there, but am looking forward to hopefully being able to go back again to enjoy this beautiful property next year.

A truly amazing house!

5 of 5
The setting, the atmosphere, the garden, sea, terrasse, rooms, furnishing... everything is just perfect We stayed for a week with our 3 children (7, 9, 11), plus grandparent, and had mostly nice weather in the mid 70ies and sun, but also 2 cloudy days with some rain. Other than in some summer houses where having a great time is conditioned upon having perfect weather all the time, every of our 7 days was amazing. Many aspects contribute to this house being excellent, but the one thing that makes it truly stand out from any house we have rented over the past 20 years in Europe and the US, even in the higher priced category, is the style, taste and quality with which it is furnished and equipped - inside and outside. We would return any time. Thanks for a wonderful week!

AMAZING!

5 of 5
We held a friend reunion here with 8 adults and 8 children. Between the guest house and the main house, there was plenty of room. I would not factor in the bunkhouse for occupancy as it was not a place we would have used, but there are PLENTY of pull out couches throughout the houses. The yard/beach access with children, hands down was perfect and needed. We were able to swim, kayak, and the land itself suitable for obstacle courses, soccer games, and a plethora of outdoor activities. It was about 25 minutes to bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor; a little longer to some of the hikes and bass harbor, bot doable. I HIGHLY recommend this place for large groups. The bonus, no trying to park at Sand Beach in Acadia because they have their own swimable beach. Worth every penny. Additionally, the owners were friendly, amenable, and responded quickly to emails.
