Had a GREAT time at this GREAT place on MDI

5 of 5
We took my parents up here for a week for their 50th wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time. The house is very nice - updated, clean, nice floor-plan, well-stocked, nice yard, screened in porch, and located on a great, VERY quiet cove where you can watch the tides roll in and out. My brother and I wore the ping pong table out! The weather was also fantastic in July, and we got to do some great hiking, canoeing, and sight-seeing around the island. Took a nature cruise which we highly recommend, and saw bald eagles, seals, peregrine falcons, etc. We'd definitely stay here again next time we come up to MDI and Acadia! Thanks again! Homeport House

4 of 5
Great home with ample deck space, a yard, and access to a dock. The dock is shared with the owner and their son who have their yacht and lobster boat there, respectively. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The photos give a fair representation of the home's amenities and condition.

Great escape in a perfect spot!

5 of 5
This is the real deal. Lots of windows overlooking the ocean, very private, and so much antique character! The deck on the back of this house may be one of the greatest spots we've ever had the opportunity to enjoy. The location is beyond beautiful. Only one thing: try to stay to one side going down the driveway if you're in a car or a minivan or you will scrape the bottom of your car. Once you're there for a day or so, you get the hang of it. But seriously, for anyone who wants to enjoy Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but have somewhere to escape at the end of the day, this is it. You'll enjoy this house so much you probably won't mind just hanging out there for a day. This was our honeymoon spot and it was simply perfect. We'll certainly be returning!
