Great Getaway!

5 of 5
There is nothing better than leaving a city and staying at a place like this quaint cottage. It was the perfect home base to go on day trips and come back to total quiet and calm. The house was clean and tidy and was the perfect place to stay. Also! In walking distance to a few places nearby including the General Store and East Wind Inn. Would come back in a flash!

Everything you dream Maine can be

5 of 5
Lovely family cottage with ocean views nestled in a woodsy neighborhood. What we most loved was bring able to easily access the beaches and lighthouses and antique shops (and authentic lobster places!), without having the tourist summer maine experience. We felt a part of a friendly community yet on a peaceful retreat. Wonderful host that made us feel like it was truly our house for our stay. We cant wait to come back. Months later and our 3 year old keeps asking when we're going to the "red house".

Wonderful Rental!

5 of 5
I have never written a review of a vacation rental before but was so happy with this cabin that I really wanted to get the word out there! We have stayed in many rentals including a number of VRBO places but Tracy and Chris' cabin is by far the best rental experience we have ever had. From the minute we inquired about the availability they could not have been more responsive or more helpful in providing us information about the area as well as the cabin itself. The cabin itself was in immaculate condition when we arrived and had absolutely everything we needed down to the smallest detail. It is adorable and while it is small we had more than enough space due to how well it is laid out. We spent hours on the wonderful porch. It was the first time we brought our dog on vacation and it was a perfect spot for him. I was a little worried that a "pet friendly" cabin might be full of pet hair and a little shabby but like I said you would never have known this was a pet friendly cabin. It was immaculately clean and cozy. Tracy and Chris had prepared an information packet like I've never seen. I would not have needed to bring a single guide book (and actually didn't bother to refer to the ones I had brought since their info was so much better than what was provided in the books!). It is a lovely part of Maine with so much to do. We loved staying in Tenants Harbor. We did many outings (hiking in the Camden Hills and Ragged Mountain), biking, Monhegan Island, touring a lot of local towns including Camden/Rockland/Rockport/Belfast but we were always so happy to come home at the end of the day to the peace and quiet of this lovely cabin. We can't wait to come back.
