BREATHTAKINGLY ABSOLUTELY SUPERB

We are repeat renters for several years and love and treat this home as our own. It deserves respect just because of the mere beauty of the entire rental and property. A long as we can we will come back here years to come. My two grandsons love the large tree on the deck and the horse cross the street. When one walks into this house you immediately experience breathtaking awe The pictures do not do it justice the owners are exceedingly hospitable. We spend time in Maine and have for the past 40 years. This is by far the most wonderful memories we cherish. We drove to ellsworth for dinner and the Acadia Park one day after the govt opened it. Governors restaurant is wonderful Walking along the beach across the street is my most enjoyable activity. The boys 6 and 8 build a treasure chest in the sand just from things we scout around. This year they outdid themselves and found enough shells to spell their names. We could not go to sand beach bcuz the park was closed but we used the shore across the street and made the best treasure chest ever. The pictures I have are treasuring memories with castles and moats and crab shells rocks shells. I will always want this to be part of the memories of my life. I highly recommend with a rating a 25. Share in the memories of Gods nature and make this house someplace you have to visit at least once in your lifetime.

PERFECTION!

This gorgeous home overlooking the coastline is perfectly appointed and provided everything that our family grouping of 11 people could have ever desired. We loved having the kayaks and canoes as well as bicycles for our use. The peacefulness of the setting was amazing. Who couldn't be content to be able to bicycle on scenic roads, hike in Acadia, kayak on the Union River Bay, sit on a chaise lounge on the beautifully landscaped lawn, play games on the deck, or just relax and look out the huge windows on a rainy day? The owner Michael was the perfect host as he greeted us upon arrival, explained everything about the house, and was at our beck and call by phone and/or by texting. The amenities were amazing, and the cleanliness was outstanding. Our only regret is that it was already booked for the week we wanted for summer of 2014. In the 20 years that we have been planning a summer family vacation for our group of 11-14 people, we agreed that this was the loveliest home of all.

I am working on a book and wanted to get away from the busy-ness of life. I found great respite and inspiration in this house.
