Best place to stay between Acadia and Schoodic

5 of 5
We stayed 3 nights in this wonderful Cottage in an absolutely peaceful atmosphere. Very nice and helpful owner, absolutely clean with everything we needed for cooking and barbecue. Short way to the nearest Drugstore in Hancock, 2 Supermarkets in Ellsworth, scenic drive to Schoodic or Mount Desert Island. We will sureley come back - the nicest lodge on our New England Fall Foliage Tour! Great place to stay between Bar Harbor and Winter Harbor. German: Wir verbrachten drei traumhafte Tage in diesem Cottage. Die schönste Unterkunft unserer New England Fall Foliage Tour!

“Incredible, truly "Where heaven touches earth"”

5 of 5
The location is exactly as advertised, great pictures and descriptions. This property is among the cleanest and most well stocked of any place we have stayed. We had wonderful hosts, they seemed to sense our every need from a nice supply of baked goods, and a well stocked kitchen to prior preparation of kindling and logs for both our indoor and outdoor fires. I recommend this property in the highest manner and will be posting everywhere I can about it. The caretakers provide company and information when needed and allow you to remain as private as you desire while enjoying this amazing property in nature. This is the perfect place to reflect on your life, forget about your daily cares and enjoy the natural beauty this earth has to offer. Should you find yourself in need of other distractions, Acadia National park is within easy reach, both MDI & the Schoodic peninsula. Many great small harbor towns surround this beautiful property.

Cozy Cottage Stay on our Visit to Maine

4 of 5
I am shocked that this cottage has no reviews online. The guest book at the cottage is full of raving reviews about their time spent at this cottage. Our experience was no different. I wanted our visit to Maine as a family to be reflective of the natural beauty we would experience. When I saw Blueberry Cottage and Blackberry Cottage (the one two houses down), I knew this was the place we should stay. We found it to be exactly as pictured --warm, inviting, and clean. My kids loved picking wild blueberries in the nearby field for our morning pancakes, chasing butterflies and fireflies, and enjoying the surroundings. We enjoyed unplugging while eating meals on the porch, reading, and just relaxing. The cottage wasn't that far from Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor and we it was great to return to the cottage each night after our adventures.
