Ever see a Moose from the deck of your ski house?

5 of 5
Totally worth it! Spent a week there last season with my wife and another couple. First morning a moose was walking up the driveway, first one for a few of us. The house is really clean, and quickly heats up . Plenty of room on the upper floor for a group of people, or a family. Feels like your in the woods, and I could only see one cabin from the house and it was empty all week. Its an easy 5 min drive along the Carabassett River (Beautiful!) from the Sugarloaf access rd. We did head over to Saddleback and Rangeley to ski for a day and it was awesome, a slower pace of life over there. Perfect house to enjoy a week in the woods, (next to two world class ski areas) will be back for sure. Even though it was cold, by far my best week of the season. Great fold down rough cut pine log dining room table!

Perfect for a hiking club

5 of 5
This house was perfectly situated for hiking the high peaks area. With bunk sleeping for 12, fully equipped kitchen, and two full bathrooms it is perfect for a our large club type group. I don't think we could have found anything better. Just what we were looking for!

Nice house in a central location

4 of 5
The house was easy to find on a quiet road with nice areas to walk nearby. The interior is lovely. Walk into a clean large game room. Upstairs to the kitchen, living area and 2 bedrooms. Upstairs again to the loft and master bedroom. Love the log home living. Everything was clean and ready. The porch had a hammock and rocking chairs. Ammenities in the kitchen were great. We didn't realize there was no satellite or cable tv. Cell reception was zero. In a way it was ok because we had to talk and play board games. There were quite a few good ones to select from. We brought along our pet and enjoyed being able to have our whole family spend a nice week together. Wish the yard was kept up a bit, but that's ok. The area is very nice! Thank you for having us, we really enjoyed this home.
