Beautiful, Comfortable and Relaxing

5 of 5
Beautiful home that was extremely clean and comfortable. Has a great feeling to it that just set my family at ease and helped us to relax into our vacation. The owner, Lisa, was very pleasant and easy to work with. With 4 bedrooms (two upstairs and two on the main floor) and three full bathrooms, the house gave my family space to spread out, while the sitting area in front of the fireplace as well as the TV room in the basement and deck out back gave us lots of hang time together. The packet of information on local restaurants and activities gave us a good head start on planning our week and places to eat. With a few restaurants either not being open for the summer or closing early, it was really nice to have a list of options in front of us, as well as recommendations on markets and grocery stores. Got several hikes in, and went boating out in Rangeley when we weren't just hanging out and having fun. My wife and I definitely felt blessed with such a great stay. Thank you Lisa!

Memories to Last a Lifetime

5 of 5
Although we live just a little over an hour away, we rented this house to be closer to the venue where our daughter was getting married. The house was all we hoped for and more. When we arrived, it was pouring rain. What a bonus to be able to back into the garage to unload the mountains of stuff we had brought with us. There was not a drop of rain on the bride to be! The house is beautifully designed and tastefully furnished. Everything, inside and out, was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well enough equipped to host a pre-wedding breakfast for the 10 gentlemen in the bridal party, with no problems. The furnishings are high quality and very comfortable. The house is centrally located, yet very private, with no visible neighbors (at least in the summer) and little to no traffic going by. We had several family members rent other 4 bedroom houses in the immediate area (within the same price range) and this house was, hands down, the nicest and best maintained of them all. Even the professional photographer who came to take pictures of the men getting ready for the wedding remarked upon what a lovely house it is. Lastly, Lisa and Andrew were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for your kind wishes and help throughout the week, and for helping to create wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

Great Value!

5 of 5
The property is a clean, well-equipped, well-appointed space on two levels, with very comfortable arm chairs for relaxing, beautiful morning light, and a gorgeous mountain view. The porch is small but serviceable. The condo has plenty of room for at least six people and plenty of storage for gear, coats, etc., and a reasonable amount of privacy. While generally not fancy, most everything you could need is available in the kitchen, and you could easily enjoy all your meals here. The Snubber chair is immediately adjacent. Lots of games and movies for kids. The owner Kristen was amazingly responsive throughout the experience -- from first contact to prompt return of the security deposit. Her descriptions were accurate and easy to follow and she provided whatever information asked for. A pleasure to rent from her. All in all, I don't think you can find a better value ski-in, ski-out in Sugarloaf. (But spring season skiers should remember the Snubber closes mid-April after which you can ski in, but not, unfortunately "out", alas!).
