                          AN ISLAND OF SERENE RELAXATION

                          5 of 5
Opening onto Seal Harbor and Penobscot Bay beyond, this well maintained and fully equipped house is an ideal retreat, off the beaten path. Visitors have the choice of lazily spending the day watching the harbor's constant activity literally at your doorstep, whether it is lobstermen pulling their traps, the odd seal or kayaker paddling by, or an Outward Bound expedition dropping anchor before the crews spend the night sleeping atop their oars; or those same visitors can pick and choose among a wide range of more vigorous activities available in nearby Rockland, Rockport, Camden and numerous other villages and towns. While we have a growing list of favored restaurants within easy driving distance, we probably grill out in the backyard on half the days we are there. (A recently opened clam shack 100 or so yards away means this make vs. buy decision can be made right up at the last minute.). This coming summer will probably mark our sixth or seventh stay there.

                          TERRIFIC PETFRIENDLY COTTAGE

                          5 of 5
Russ and I spent a wonderful week at the cottage! We couldn't ask for more! Sunny and cozy, it was just the right size for us. The neighbors were friendly and more than willing to chat about the local history. We especially enjoyed the evening that owners John and Kate stopped by. What a great couple! We brought our dog along and he had a great time too. We also got the pet deposit returned right away! We highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back again!

                          PERFECT ACCOMMODATIONS MID-COAST.

                          5 of 5
The house and accommodations exceeded our expectations. Very roomy and clean - stocked with all the appliances and amenities we could want. Location is the deal-breaker. Whether sitting in the living room or kitchen table or outside on the deck, the view of the cove is just as you would see on a post card....lobster and sail boats moored nearby. The road nearby is not heavily traveled, so daily walks were scenic. Fresh fish market within walking distance - we ate fresh catch a couple times and even took haddock back home with us. Drive to Rockland only 12-15 minutes; Thomaston a nice, small town also nearby. Lynne very accommodating to work with. Without a doubt, we'll return because of view and location to activities only Maine has to offer. Next year we'll not schedule so many outings and enjoy the relaxed, slow pace of the house - we were not ready to leave!
