Wonderful stay for two weeks

5 of 5
Our family of three enjoyed everything about our experience staying at the Cape's End cottage. We had pleasurable and professional communications from the moment we were inquiring about the cottage to the moment we left for home. When we arrived, we immediately felt at home. The location has a wonderful view of Cape Harbor and the Cockolds Lighthouse. For activities during our stay, our 10yr daughter went to a local camp during the morning and we would spend the afternoons going into town, visiting local sites (like the amazing Boothbay Botanical Garden) or sitting on the back deck and reading in the shade. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom which made for easier packing. There is a wood stove and we did end up using it (even in July) for a few rainy nights. In conclusion I would recommend staying at this cottage - its cozy experience made for a wonderful two weeks in July.

Amazing Place!

5 of 5
What an amazing place! It is just off the beaten path, surrounded by trees, and oh so comfortable, with up to date appliances and a fully outfitted kitchen. The caretakers stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed, and even came back to drop off a goodie bag for our dog! The location is perfect - close to Boothbay Harbor, the Aquarium and the Botanical Gardens (which are incredible and a MUST see). We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone that is looking for convenient, but quiet place to stay in the area.

A Place Time Forgot

5 of 5
No review can convey how truly special this cottage is. Brooke has lovingly decorated this cottage with art and beautifully restored furnishings. The cottage is fully supplied for a holiday - and if you like to cook you can cook about anything from boiling lobsters to baking an unforgettable desert. Everything about An Tigin is spotlessly maintained. The cottage garden, visible from every window in the front of the house, is set off against the changing light of sky and harbor. Ocean views surround you- in the dining area, the bedroom, the living room and the comfortable deck. The cottage's large yard is on the waterfront and set among other handsome cottages with quiet, but friendly neighbors. Just beyond the cottage a magical narrow bridge invites you to Capitol Island with its cottages, rocky shore and secluded beach. It was so relaxing to walk around the island in the evening and see the twnkling lights of Boothbay Harbor from the bridge. If you want to experience the quiet and beauty of the gulls, tides, sunsets and star gazing or the adventure of kayaking and bicycling, An Tigin will provide you with a perfect vacation.
