Spectacular Views

5 of 5
I have traveled to Maine for 21 years and am so happy to have found this gem. The Penthouse was fabulous. A peaceful place to sit and watch the events of Kennebunkport. Each morning, even in the rain, the Quintessential town is alive. From having breakfast at "Mornings in Paris" to sitting on the sunporch in front of the gas fireplace enjoying the views of the ever changing tide made the perfect vacation. The views from the open living room, dining room area are spectacular. The master bedroom is very comfortable with it's own sun porch. As we drove away my only thought was - how soon could I return!

10-STAR Rating -Very friendly and at home feeling

5 of 5
Booked this property for my 84-year old native Maine father and 80-year old mother. We were concerned with stairs and the inability to get into accessible places. There are very few hotels in Maine that are ADA friendly. Phil and his wife were friendly, very attentive and the kindest people you can find in Maine as homeowners. They truly care about each of their guests and treats you as family. The house was immaculate and very well furnished. The open communication throughout this process was done with careful consideration to my parents abilities and needs. We would definitely stay here again and hope to plan another trip soon. Great location with wonderful amenities and owners.

Labor Day weekend

4 of 5
The house was very clean and the owners were very helpful when needed. The one thing that was a problem was that it was not completely handicapped accessible as was told to us. If a person is in a wheelchair, there are some steps from the kitchen elevator to the main living room, etc. That was a problem. Also, the lip going into the elevator from the garage was too high for a scooter to go over - it had to be carried. This is very upsetting for the person who is handicapped and wants to be independent. Also, the bathrooms are not fully accessible. This was very disappointing and our handicapped guest had to leave early because of these difficulties. The location of the home was beautiful. Customer service was good. I would recommend the property to anyone except a handicapped person. We went into Portsmouth for breakfasts and some dinners. Loved Popovers! Shopping at the outlets, only minutes away, was great and some nice restaurants on the same highway.
