Halloween in Kittery & Portsmouth 2014

4 of 5
My husband and I took a long weekend for a late fall getaway in the New England area. We stayed in Kittery, ME at this little dog friendly studio apt a few blocks from kittery's main center. Location was perfect for us. We brought our small dog and took daily walks down to Lils for our morning coffee. We had researched Portsmouth a bit before we arrived and were happy to be only a 10minute walk from the downtown Area. Linda, the owner of the studio lives upstairs and while we knew she was available if need be, she stayed out of our way and let us enjoy our stay. She was extremely nice and recommended the Portsmouth Halloween parade which we didn't know about. She even offered costumes for us to borrow if we wanted to dress up. The small studio was just what we needed. And the value was great. We took the Portsmouth eats food tour and made it a point to try out kittery's raved about black birch restaurant. All in all, we ate GOOD! Overall the getaway was a success even despite the cold rainy weather we ran into while there. We would definitely return... in the spring!

SUPERIOR OWNER and RENTAL

5 of 5
We had a wonderful time in Maine. The owner was very helpful, polite and graceful. The property is the best little hidden treasure. She went over and beyond for us. The home is supplied with everything you could need, I only had to bring towels. Thank you for a great and nonforgettable "Maine" experience. I will rent again and pass the word!!!!!

Our 20th Anniversary Vacation In Ogunquit

5 of 5
My wife and I have visited Ogunquit many times over the years and actually spent 3 nights there during our honeymoon in 1994. Our first experience renting a studio was extremely positive and enjoyable. The location is exactly where we want to be with anice view of the ocean and close to The Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, shopping and restaurants. We loved the patio where drinks and snacks were enjoyed on several occasions. The studio was the perfect size for us with the covenience of a kitchen and the availability of a laudry room. It was wonderfly decorated and very clean. There were 2 flatscreen TV's. One in the living area and a smalled one in the bed area. We walked the Marginal Way and Ogunquit Beach each day during our visit and dined at Barnacle Billy's, The Wild Blueberry, Cornerstone Pizza, Ogunquit Lobster Pound and drove to Wells to dine at The Steak House, Billy's Chowder House and The Fisherman's Catch. We did a fair share of shopping and drinking rum punches! The landlords are very nice people and actually helped us out with an early TV problem. This was the perfect place we've always been looking for. We've already signed up for another week next year and would eagerly be willing to always give a reference if needed.
