FISHMAN'S PARADISE

5 of 5
This was a wonderful, comfortable waterfront house. Kitchen was set up with everything you might need. And even though we don't care about having cable TV while on vacation it was certainly nice at night and on rainy days. We had brought up our own canoe and kayaks and with the two kayaks that were there to use we always had a boat for everyone to use. Days were spent basking in the sun on the dock or on floats we brought from home. We are all fishermen and I would rate the fishing about a B+ this particular week. The bass really like the live minnows but we did catch plenty of fish with the rubber grubs and worms. Our biggest fish caught was a largemouth bass weighing in at almost 4 pounds. At the other end of the pond there is a little body of water that proved to be a great fishing spot. If you don't mind dragging your boat over the little beaver dam it's a super place to fish or just explore. The kids saw a bald eagle in one of the dead trees just watching them. If you are looking for plenty of rest and relaxation this would be the house for you.

GREAT FAMILY WEEKEND GETAWAY

5 of 5
What a view. A rustic little cabin on a gorgeous lake, quiet, peaceful, relaxing. The water was clean, the use of the paddle boat, canoe and kayake made the lazy days on the lake much more fun. The cabin was very clean, and the sleep porch comfortably slept our family of four. Civilization within five miles! Even a Dunkin Donuts.

SPACIOUS, RELAXING HOME ON SQUARE POND.

5 of 5
Property is clean, modern and spacious. We had a group of 20, 12 adults and 8 kids over the New Years Holiday and space was not an issue. The kids turned the downstairs game room into there space, which left the beautiful scenic upstairs to the adults. Waking up in the morning, sitting in a leather recliner drinking coffee looking out onto the frozen pond watching planes take off was so relaxing. We cooked, ate, drank and enjoyed each others company. One night we booked a sleigh ride over in Kennebunk (rockin stables) about a 40 min ride which allowed the kids to finally sleep. Well worth the trip! The property is fantastic and the family that owns the property couldn't be nicer! We fully intend to rent through them in the future.
