Beautiful fall retreat

5 of 5
Great cottage on peaceful, quiet, large, pond(lake). Good fishing, great views and sunrise.comfortable beds, easy to use wood stove for heat(did a great job keeping cottage warm).fall colors were just starting, would be amazing in another week or so. canoe and kayaks were very nice, canoe very wide and stable for fishing, lots of life jackets, many sizes. lot to do do in area, plenty of restaurants in Bridgton. washer and dryer a plus.nice grassy large side yard with plenty of chairs to soak up the magnificent view. nice deck. great owner. would definitely come back!

Peaceful September

5 of 5
What a lovely cottage! We arrived home tonight and so wish we were still feeding the fire at Morningside and enjoying the cool, refreshing September air off the lake. Not one complaint. Everything was as stated and more. Comfy beds, plenty of linens, warm blankets, well equipped kitchen (esp. loved having a dishwasher) and options galore for sitting outside on the porch, deck or along the shore. We kayaked out to the island and were delighted to see the huge eagle nest and two eagles. A very nice place to be in September - the lake was very quiet.

Good time

4 of 5
The area in Sebago is beautiful with lots of stuff to do nearby. We may have been the first renters of the season, the house was a little cobwebby but very cozy. Plenty of fans in every room for ambient noise since the house is pretty creaky! The deck is awesome, fun times at the firepit and playing games on the awesome kitchen table. The private beach is nice and relaxing, would go again! The only negative comment I would make is the owner's dogs like to come down and "mark their territory" on your vehicle and anything you have outside.
