BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY INSIDE AND OUT!!

5 of 5
The cottage was immaculate with warm and charming decor. The owner provided six kayaks and two canoes which my family really enjoyed. There is an L shaped dock with a double glider on it with breath taking views of Moose Pond. We will definately be coming back!

LIKE COMING HOME

5 of 5
Having spent most of my childhood on Frye Island (used to own lot 60 Leisure Ln), we were looking for a home with the same feel and views so our 2 little ones could experience a Frye Island swim, sand and sunset. We could not have been more pleased with the place. We had a family of deer the first day and the kids loved that. They came up to eat the wild blueberrys all over the lot.. The beach was sandy and big enough for sand castles and beach chairs. Awesome sunsets and a swim at dusk brought back the memories. I spent my mornings with hot coffee on the large rocks on the right side of the beach. The house was comfortable and modern, and the mooring came in handy for the boat we rented. Also right down the street is the marina on Long Beach where we kept the boat at night. $150 for a week for a slip - no fuel @ the facility. Very thankful for the opportunity these owners afforded us to spend time in their little slice of heaven.. We will be back for sure..

GREAT STAY AT PANTHER POND

5 of 5
Guest: Leonard (Orono, ME) Date of Stay: 08/13/11 Review Submitted: 11/22/11 My family and I stayed at this cottage and we LOVED IT! We have taken numerous vacations at Bar Harbor, Boothbay, Rockport, Portland and Belfast shorelines, as well as the Rangeley (Maine) Lake region. This one beats them all. There were many things that made our stay memorable and happy. The log-cabin feel to the cottage adds the rustic charm and everything is clean and well maintained. The cottage is large enough for two families, allowing our daughter “her own space”. The view from the cottage must be one of the very best along the entire lake. On the right-side is the uninhabited shore of the opposite side of the little cove for a cozy feel. On the left-side you can see across the entire lake providing the panoramic view. These two different views from the cottage porch or windows are terrific as you look through trees. Thanks to that shade, one cannot even see the cottage from the lake which provides perfect privacy. The place is quiet too. We loved the moon light shimmering off the lake at night. A light breeze coming off the lake was enough for small waves to lap along the shore making a serene sound. Although we enjoyed nearly perfect weather, we appreciated the books and games in the basement, just in case we did not feel like getting out onto the lake or exploring the area. We enjoyed an immensely relaxing, quiet, and nearly private stay at this wonderful cottage and will definitely be returning here every year assuming it remains available for stays.
