What a gem!

5 of 5
This house is an absolute treasure! The pictures and description do not do it justice! We stayed here for a week with our extended family of 6 adults and 4 children. We had ample room. The house is beautifully decorated! It looks like it is an advertisement for Ethan Allen. Everything looks brand new. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly imagine: beautiful linen (and a beautiful change of linen), soft bath towels, large absorbent pool towels, games, DVD's, books, toys, pool toys, fully stocked kitchen, books, etc. etc. The house is meticulously clean! Not a speck in any corner. The house looks freshly painted. The view of Penobscot Bay is stunning! The huge lawn stretching out to the bay is beautiful and was perfect for the children to play on. The porch with the adirondack chairs was just one of the relaxing places to sit. There is also a nice couch near the kitchen looking at the ping pong tale, a screened in porch, lounge chairs out by the pool, a little nook with two chairs, a lamp and a table, and a sun room overlooking the pool. Not to mention the pool!!! It is a nice size, warm, covered, and really clean. (they have someone come to service it once a week) Basically, I highly reccomend this charming house. If we ever return to Maine, this is where we will stay! Thank you for a lovely vacation!
