EXTRAORDINARY PLACE OF QUIET BEAUTY - TAKE ME BACK

        5 of 5
Eagleview is by far a hidden gem with lots of charm and character. The view from every floor is jaw dropping and the fire pit in the evenings provided so much peace & tranquility.. Even though there were only 4 of us on this trip, we could have easily brought several more of our friends and still had plenty of room. We cooked in many meals and there were all the needed cooking items in the fully stocked kitchen. We spent several days in Acadia hiking from Sandy Beach to Otter Point plus Jordan Pond and a couple of hikes in the Schoodic Peninsular. You might say we ate our way through Maine enjoying fresh lobster, blueberry pie and blueberry pancakes - Chester Pike has the best homemade blueberry pie and blueberry pancakes and the restaurant is 3 miles from Eagleview. We also enjoyed their Haddock sandwiches. Our side trip to Campobello Island in Canada was not a disappointment. We loved our time here and the owner, Tony, was very gracious and very responsive. The only negative I have is that our week did not last long enough. I'd rent Eagleview again without any hesitation and recommend to all friends and relatives. Come and see for yourself!

EXCELLENT & RELAXING COTTAGE ON SCHOODIC PENINSULA

        5 of 5
Very comfy cottage with excellent attention to detail by the owner. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, nice deck. Just a two minute walk up the street to the park loop road along the ocean on Schoodic Peninsula. Very quiet...nice to hear the stream beside the cottage and the distant foghorn. Big enough yard so we could have our dogs on a 50 foot tether without bothering the neighbors. I would definitely come back here...thanks for being dog friendly!

        ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL COTTAGE

        5 of 5
This cottage was just as described in the listing and accompanying photos. The owner has thought of everything that could be needed during a stay. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful at all times during the renting process and during the rental week. There is a very informative book provided that has information on things to see and do in the area as well as local eating places. This cottage is so close to the Arcadia National Park at Schoodic as well as many other small villages in the area. No road taken failed to provide spectacular scenery. There are many small, locally owned craft stores and art galleries to visit, do not miss sunset Grindstone Neck, the ferry to Bar Harbor, or the lobster rolls on the dock in Corea, or a day in the park hiking, biking, or just enjoying the view. I would definitely recommend this property and plan on returning next year.
