Fabulous Family Vacation Spot

5 of 5
This home is ideally located on the peninsula of Pine Point, Maine. The huge living room windows look out onto Scarborough harbor and the beautiful sand marsh, which is teaming with salt water birds and interesting animals. We launched our canoe from the sandy beach just in back of the cottage and had a relaxing afternoon ride. On the other side of the peninsula you'll find a gorgeous 7 mile strip of white sand beach. The home is immaculately maintained and stocked with anything that a vacationing family might need. There are terrific seafood restaurants within walking distance, and the Maine Mall is a short drive away. You couldn't ask for a better place to rest, relax, and unwind. We can't wait to get back!

Family Vacation at Maine Beach Dreams, Pine Point

4 of 5
We had a wonderful stay, the home's location was perfect for us; scenic & family-oriented. It is in a great "beach-goers" location, close enough to the action of the amusement shops, dining and pier, yet far enough away to provide restful quiet. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable with charming beach decor and ample parking. The back yard and deck was a lovely and enjoyable space for us to relax in the evenings and to dine al fresco. A nearby rental shop provided great service; delivered and picked up kayaks, SUP's and beach chairs/cart to enhance our enjoyment at the beach. We enjoyed the amusement park at the Old Orchard Pier, had a great lunch and delicious ice cream at Bayley's, and purchased lobsters at Bayley's for home preparation in the well-appointed kitchen. We went on a 2-hour schooner sailing trip on the Windemeen with Portland Schooner Company and highly recommend it. It was a very memorable and comfortable family vacation!
