Best way to spend a 3-day weekend on coastal Maine

5 of 5
Our Labor Day weekend aboard the Charles Andrew exceeded all expectations. The boat is new, well appointed and perfectly maintained, all amenities are as advertised. During the day we explored under power, paddle, sail. . . Evenings we enjoyed great dinner at the boatyard restaurant (with full bar), watched a movie aboard and did some reading. Kids had a blast boating, fishing, watching seals right from their berth, etc. most important, the boatyard staff are delightful people who bent over backwards to make sure that we were having a great time. We strongly recommend this venue if you are looking for a memorable vacation.

Wrap your Portland getaway in amazing luxury

5 of 5
Stunning interior that is tastefully decorated in a chic Downeast style; loaded with beautiful artwork, photographs, and reminders of the rich culture that surrounds the entire Maine seacoast. Comfortably sleeps a large family or multiple couples. Wonderful bathrooms that are well furnished, including beautiful fixtures. Many places to sit and read, share stories, or relax after a busy day exploring Portland. The kitchen is amazing for any number of meals -- built to professional standards with high quality appliances. Sit in the myriad of outdoor spaces for a meal, chat, or quiet time watching ships transit through the Portland waterways. The home is a 15 minute walk to Old Port, and 10 minutes from the western edge of the downtown district. Runners rejoice in hip urban streets to jog through, with quiet streets allowing a comfortable run. Surround yourself in history, luxury, and easy access to the entire Midcoast region. You will *not* regret it.
