A truly magnificent Log Cabin!

5 of 5
A truly magnificent Log Cabin! Fun for the entire family and more. Everything about this home promotes quality time w/ friends &/or family. Lots of space to hang out. Game room, fantastic movie theater room, hot tub and not to mention the huge fire-pit area w/ 3 picnic tables and logs to lounge on around the fire pit. Surrounding towns w/ restaurants within a 15 min drive or less. I would recommend Rick's restaurant in Naples for a gorgeous lake view while u sip a beverage or have a meal on the upper deck. Rent a Jet Ski or take a boat ride on the Songo River Cruise boat. The "Corn Shop" in Bridgton is a must see gift shop. We are happy we rented this cabin w/ our children who are 6, 4 and almost 3 months old along w/ our parents. We've enjoyed delicious dinners in the gourmet kitchen followed by roasting s'mores. The back room w/ woods view has 2 dining tables that we've put to use constructing puzzles. Did I mention the beautiful rain shower in the master bedroom. The owner has been very kind in making wonderful recommendations in offering advice on what to visit/see and responds extremely fast to any questions I've sent via email. We loved reading about the construction of the log home that is in a binder near the kitchen. We would already love to visit again & we haven't left yet.

Truly Wonderful Experience

5 of 5
I rented this home for my family (parents and 2 kids), my sister's family (parents and 3 kids), and two others. The home itself is beautiful and very comfortable - a real pleasure to be in. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, far and away the best equipped kitchen I've had in any of the vacation homes I've rented. While the house is in a very quiet and secluded area, if you're of a mind to not just relax you can quickly be kayaking in any of the many lakes nearby, biking, hiking, picking fruit, rock hunting, etc. Back at the house after the sun has gone down, you'll have a brilliant star-lit sky with the Milky Way visible immediately even before your eyes have really adjusted. All the amenities (sauna, hot tub, grill) work well, and the owner has left very clear instructions for using them - not in an overbearing way, but giving you the confidence to actually use them. The furnishings, indoors and out, are all appropriate for this kind of home. I would certainly rent this property again and recommend it highly to others.

A lightful, spacy, cosy home with a great view

5 of 5
We arrived in the night very tired from a exhausting, long drive. The house was lighten and several foods, drinks, sweets and fresh flowers welcome us. I felt directly in love with the property!! Everything is perfect. The wonderful living room with the great view, the cosy fire-place, the gorgeous furniture, the big kitchen, with all equipment you need, the wooden terrace, the two bedrooms on the gallery overlooking the forrest up to the sea. We celebrate Christmas and feel like being home from the first to the last second of our stay. The weather with icy, snowy and sunny parts changes the view in a magic way. One highlight was the skiing place near by, where you can overlook the sea while skiing. The owner was very helpful and answer kind and competent every question we had, Overall it was a wonderful holiday we spent in Maine, we will never forget it. A big t hank to the owners. We will come again.
