Good for families

5 of 5
We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with our five-month-old that was close to trails, views, and towns. The property met those requirements and then some. We enjoyed how well-kept the cabin was. In addition to being tastefully decorated, the bed and bed linens were extremely comfortable -- a key point for new parents running a sleep deficit. We travel frequently and enjoy the small touches that make a place feel like home. The cabin was stocked with family-friendly movies (and one copy of Silence of the Lambs), games, and dry goods, so it felt like we were staying at a friends' house rather than a soulless timeshare or condo. We took our little guy hiking on the Mount Will loop and up to Grafton Notch State Park. Both were enjoyable. North Conway and the Presidentials are a nice day trip away, and Gorham, NH is a fun side trip if you're looking for a little more action than we found in Bethel. (I'm assuming it's shoulder season, too late for river sports and leaf-peeping and too early for skiing.) We'd stay again in a heartbeat if we were in the area.

Highly Recommend!!

5 of 5
Previous reviewers have not exaggerated: This cottage was built with love and pride of workmanship, and was SUPER CLEAN. It is just minutes away from many visitor attractions, yet it has a forest setting that makes it seem very secluded - we found it so restful after a long day of exploring. Without being cluttered, this cottage had everything we needed to be quite comfortable. We spent a week here and could have stayed forever. If we are lucky enough to return someday, we would definitely stay here again. Many thanks!

Great 8 Ladies Annual Retreat

5 of 5
Cannot rave about this condo enough. It is perfect for a large group or family. We went with eleven women and the set-up is perfect. Plenty of private space if needed and the open floor plan for living room, kitchen and dining room worked wonderfully for the large group. The owner, Steve was very helpful throughout the process. Condo is within a stones throw away from the chair lift - unbelievable location for the skiers. We walked up Sugarloaf resort area and place was incredible. Cannot wait to return during ski season. I definitely would recommend this to a family for future rentals. Place was very clean and great amenities. Thank You Steve for a great weekend!
