Bethel, Maine vacation

4 of 5
We were at the property around the 30th of June and stayed there until the 3rd of July this year. We were a family of 4 and were accompanied by my sisters family of 4 and my parents. There were four kids between the age group of 3 to 14. the house was spacious and comfortable and well maintained. The only issue was that there are no air conditioners and lots if bugs and insects outside in the evening. But the owner and their caretaker were nice enough to get us additional fans and that took care of the problem. The place us close to the Sunday river attractions and Grafton notch State park. We enjoyed our stay there and are looking forward to go back there in fall next year . Thank you Diane for the beautiful house and your hospitality.

Well appointed Maine cabin

5 of 5
My family of six adults recently spent a week at this pond side cabin nestled in the Maine woods. To say this was a wonderful vacation is a gross understatement. The setting and accommodations were just what we needed to relax and reset. The cabin is large enough to spread out and feel comfortable, and is stocked well enough so that leaving the site is really not necessary. We kayaked, swam, fished, catching several nice sized bass, hiked, played pool and ping pong, and of course relaxed in the hot tub. There is a beautiful, albeit buggy, bog, great for moose watching, within walking distance of cabin. We saw a bald eagle, mergansers, a mink and heard the haunting call of the loons. Unfortunately , no moose! Just peace and quiet. I would highly recommend the cabin for a family get away in any season, especially the summer and fall. Located close to the Fryeburg fairgrounds and busy North Conway, it's a great place to use as a base camp. We are already talking about next summer's vacation and looking forward to renting again. It is truly a lovely and special place. Thank you again Leslie. With fond memories and warm regards, Michael and Mary and family

A magical 5 days spent on a serene pond locale!

5 of 5
My family, including a 5 month old baby, spent a glorious vacation in this charming log house with all the amenities one could possibly need. We canoed, kayaked and swam, barbecued on the grill and made S'mores in the fire pit. And when we were tired, we lazed in the hammock overlooking the water. We couldn't ask for anything more and intend to return next summer, although we are tempted to view the autumnal changes from this spot as well.
