AMAZING COUNTRY LIVING AND ADVENTURE IN ACADIA

5 of 5
My wife, 3 year old, 2 year old, and in-laws stayed at the Renwick House and loved it. It is a perfect location for families to enjoy Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor without the noise and traffic of staying in town. The access to Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Great Head, Gorham Mtn, Champlain Mtn, and Otter Cliffs is very easy. I would highly recommend this house to climbers, runners, and cyclists who want to be in the park without much hassle. It is also perfect for families. The house is well maintained and very unique. However, those not used to old farmhouses should understand that it is not a luxury condominium, it is a very clean, well-maintained, beautiful farm house. The back yard has incredible sunsets and plenty of room to run around for the kids. The on-property trail around the meadow is gorgeous. There is a rustic cabin with a twin bed and a bathroom that is perfect for bringing a guest, family member, friend, etc. We have already booked the Renwick House for next year.

ANOTHER REVIEW FROM THE JOHNSON FAMILY

5 of 5
This review was written by my daughter, Erin Thomas... This was an amazing experience. The house was gorgeous, love and attention spent on every little detail. The ocean was a short walk in any direction. The islanders were like family by the end of the week and Ashley Bryan is a true treasure! We were so well rested after our stay, filled with the peace that comes with spending time outside in nature and surrounded by beauty.

BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING

5 of 5
The house was clean, beautiful, and well equiped for a large family. Our party consisted of 5 adults, a 4 yr old and almost 2 year old. There was plenty of room for all. The dinning table was different then the one pictured, which was great. The current table has 2 leaves in the closet between the downstairs bedrooms, providing plenty of space for everyone in one sitting. We created great memories around that table. Including my son's first lobster bake (with the large lobster pot provided). My sister-in-law was surprised to learn cooking your own lobster surpasses any lobster in a restaurant. Initially, I was concerned regarding the stairs which are not exactly 2 yr old friendly. However, he did great with supervision. The stairs were easily placed off limits by closing doors. They never became an issue. The lot is beautiful and quiet. Bring a telescope because the star gazing is amazing due to low light pollution. We enjoyed Lamoine State Park. Great scenery, playground and barbAque (great place for kite flying). The best part was packing up the car for long days in breath taking Acadia. We didn't get to see everything so we will be returning! The owner, Ray, is very kind. He can be easily contacted with any questions or concerns. I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay as the Lamoine Farm House and look forward to returning!
