From the minute we received our first message from Marsha, we knew we had little to worry about. Her tiny "piece of Paradise" was on the edge of the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge, a beautiful spot to watch the sunsets.
The studio had everything anyone would need or want and all was spotless and obviously loved. While the unit is small, the outside deck over the water which is enjoyed by all the owners and the table and chairs on the public landing are nice. Everyone seems friendly and eager to help, too; and you meet many on the stairwell at the entrance to the unit.
We walked to the beach each morning for the sunrise & visited some great area restaurants...especially Congdon's (known for their donuts!) & great breakfasts, Scoop Deck (icecream!) and Fisherman's Catch (great fried clams and delicious crab cakes). We didn't make it to Forbes but heard the burgers and ice cream were great as was Wells Beach Lobster Pound. We didn't care for the food or service at Billy's Chowder House.
Being on a corner meant we got a good breeze most of the time; but when the temperatures shot to 87, the A/C came in handy. It's a short walk to the beach, shops and Forbes; and if you have any questions, Marsha is eager to help.
